Welcome to Germantown Farmington Animal Hospital!  We are a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Germantown, TN.  GFAH has been serving the Memphis/Germantown area since the early 1970's. Our professional and courteous staff seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for our highly-valued patients. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. GFAH strives to offer excellence in veterinary care to Germantown, TN and surrounding areas. We are proud to be involved in our community and consider it an honor to serve the Shelby County K9 Unit (S.W.A.T.), caring for canines who put their lives on the line for our safety. About our doctors:
Leonard Batey, DVM
Dr. Leonard Batey earned his BS from Mississippi State in 1967 and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn in 1971. He is a past president and an active member of Memphis/Shelby County Veterinary Medical Association. He is also an active member of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Batey joined the practice in 1980. In 1995 he was voted Veterinarian of the Year by the Memphis/Shelby County Veterinary Medical Association. He has 4 Golden Retrievers Bernie, Baron, Millie, and Dudley. He also has 2 cats, Mac and Murphy.

Shellie Antey, DVM
Dr. Antey earned her BS and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue in 2000 and joined the practice that same year. She is an active member and served as a board member of the Memphis/Shelby County Veterinary Medical Association. She is also an active member of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Antey has 4 dogs, Indy Baylis, Ace, and Daisy. She also has 2 cats, Bernie and Fannie.
